Ive read stories of RR museum theft before but it really doesn't sink in till it happens to something close to you! I can't begin to describe how upset and pissed off I am right now.
For right now all we can do is just keep checking sites like eBay and Craigslist and see if they turn up.
Till then we still thankfully have the original European whistles for the O&K and CSK. As well as the Shays original (but broken) whistle, which we plan to have re-threaded. But that still leaves with a need for a pair of marker lamps and a locomotive bell, anyone know of any?
On a bright side the new boiler for Porter 2-6-0 #2 is scheduled to arrive in February and soon after a new boiler for our steam sawmill (which hasn't run under its "own power" in awhile.)
If you want to help out, if you have a few minutes to spare check out the sites mentioned above and see if you find anything. Any help is appreciated.
